P365 {Family Journal}

It.is.finished.
I did it. I am done.
This is one of those projects I love to hate.
I love having a sort of a diary of our year--just capturing the day to day moments that don't always get special digi scrapbook pages or blog posts.
BUT, at times it became a chore to stay caught up on.

Will I start all over?
Most likely. How can I not?! Now that the ground work is laid and I have a system I think I will do better. Also, my awesome hubby got me an iPod touch for Christmas so capturing our day to day will be easier. I don't live in the 21st Century and GASP! I don't have a smart phone. I am just one step up from the Zach Morris phone. :) So for me the iPod is the next best thing I can have.

So let's raise our iPod and/or phones to another year of P365!

2013 has come to a close.
It has been a great year filled with lots of memories, joy and sadness. Our life together is a beautiful and thrilling story. The best parts are yet to come. We trust the author, we know that He has brought us to and through each moment. This year we all have grown and changed. God is changing each of hearts and I can't wait to see what 2014 brings. The Story of Us is still being written and at the end of the day when you stop and look around this life is pretty amazing.

P365 {Family Journal}

This summer has been busy, but for the life of me I can't tell you with what. I tried so hard to keep our routine intact and at times it is, but then with daddy home it just throws off our schedule. I just feel like we should have done more, but then we have accomplished a lot...furthermore Chad and I are re-watching Alias {best show EVAH! Well Top 3 for sure!} and so that kills my down time that I would normal use to scrapbook, blog, email, edit etc...I was about to just give up this whole project since I was 6-7 weeks behind, but in true perfectionist fashion I persevered. I may or may not be OCD in how I even organize this project which makes it a tad easier, but creatively that still takes time.

Anyway, on to the P365...

P365 {Family Journal}

P365 catch up. I fall more in love with this project every day. It is going to be so neat to go back and look at our year like this. I wish I would have done it before now. :(

Week 13--Easter Week. My particular favorite picture is my neighbors shaking their booties at us. It's a neighborhood thing now as any of us drive by. #wearethoseneighbors

Week 14--As if we haven't had enough illness this year why not throw pink eye in there too. #yesisaidasif

Week15-16--slow weeks, but this time the dog got sick...#progress

P365 {Family Journal 2013}

My friend Erin is my digi scrapbook partner in crime. I know no one else as who is as crazy about it as me. I sort of hooked her and then she taught me and introduced me into a WORLD of free digi scrapbook stuff that is now plaguing my hard drive. You should see my "scrapbook folder" it is a nightmare mess...one day it will be organized again. HA! Sometimes I just need to say "NO!" HA!

ANYWAY! Bunny trail much Michele...she started doing this Project 365 scrapbook thing. I was all good for her, but I have enough to keep up on in my scrappy life that I am not adding one more project! BUT, the more I looked at hers I was convinced I HAD to do this too. There are so many random photos that don't warrant scrapbook pages, but I hate to see get lost on the hard drive of overly organized photos!

Plus, it's a cool way to catalog the year and try and include Chad and I a bit more! The kids get enough page time!

Below is the first "12 weeks" of my P365 Family Journal. Some pages combine weeks and some weeks are missing altogether...I don't plan to "force" myself to find a photo every day and some days/weeks have more photos than days...I really just want to capture our day to day. I am pretty happy with how it is going considering I just started this project LAST week. {Please note when I am in "scrap mode" my house is a wreck, we don't eat well and I stay up way.to.late, but I am fast at it too, it comes with 4 years of practice! HA!}

Enjoy. {PS I am using a different host site (photobucket) for my pages, so you most likely won't be able to click on them to view larger. Sorry...I think the photobucket link can take you to my host page...if you so desire.}
