Flashback {Sunday?!?!}

As I was going through pictures for my P365, which I am 6 weeks behind in. My perfectionism is killing me on this project "I will not fail!!"
I digress....
I found this photo of Lo at around 14/15ish months. The last time she was out at the farm. Looked eerily familiar to another photo. Wow! Has she grown. Love her.

This photo seems so long ago yet not all at the same time. I don't really remember her this little. I am so glad I have this blog and my scrapbooks to fill in the gaps. Time marches on.

Yuppies Take on the Farm {Pt Deux}

As promised the combine ride.
We city folk are easily excited by things like this.
Leighton has been talking about this for weeks.
It was a really neat experience and personally I think the quiet all day would be delightful, but I know there is more to it than that. It was great to show our kids where food comes from! From the fields to our plates.

I will most leave it to the pictures. I mean it's a field and a combine...not much to know. HA!

First up MW. Lo was mad she wasn't first. She is first born after all!

Grandma and Grandpa getting some fresh air on this lovely incredibly windy windy WINDY day!

We're BACK! MW looked so excited. He is such a boy.

Our turn!

Two thumbs up for the ride!

Found a tractor to play on next.

Mom, I have to get this wheat to the elevators. Come on let's go!

The neat thing about farms is they always have old equipment and trucks just resting where they stopped. Chad snapped some cool "vintage" pics.

Leighton is already talking about going back next year. And she notices all the wheat fields around here and whether they are cut or not. They were two happy kids at the farm that day!

Yuppies take on the Farm {Photo Session}

Well these city slicker, yuppy kids took on the farm last week.
We drove up to Salina to visit Chad's grandparents and give the kids (and me!) a spin on a real combine. Post to come. :)
But first I had a photo shoot with the kids for their 1/2 birthday pictures since this is such a beautiful farm.
What do you do when your kids are so cute and one little girl knows how to rock a shot. She has no direction other than "stand there and don't be silly." And this is what you get--

I like this one a lot...

Top contender...this is SO HER!

Um, hello next top model 2027 because you KNOW Tyra will still be doing it. :)

I don't know this may be my fav....

Now for my Micah Bear. He didn't get as many simply because daddy was taking photos and didn't take him as many places. :( Still cute though. Less to choose from. :)

This is his pensive pose.

I love all of his, but this is possible my favorite.

Sibling Love at its best...

Just some randoms at the farm...more to come.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for letting us come out to the farm and "work" the fields. How'd we do?! :)
