Yuppies Take on the Farm {Pt Deux}

As promised the combine ride.
We city folk are easily excited by things like this.
Leighton has been talking about this for weeks.
It was a really neat experience and personally I think the quiet all day would be delightful, but I know there is more to it than that. It was great to show our kids where food comes from! From the fields to our plates.

I will most leave it to the pictures. I mean it's a field and a combine...not much to know. HA!

The neat thing about farms is they always have old equipment and trucks just resting where they stopped. Chad snapped some cool "vintage" pics. 

Leighton is already talking about going back next year. And she notices all the wheat fields around here and whether they are cut or not. They were two happy kids at the farm that day!
