Friday night {Dec 7} Lo had her very first Christmas performance! I have dreamed of this moment. She spent weeks practicing her two songs,
Silent Night which had TONS of motions and
The Greatest Gift. A song I had never heard before but absolutely love now!
Here she is at dress rehearsal. All the girls got these light up bows and the boys light up bow ties, each kid also got a LED Christmas box to hold during the
Greatest Gift song.
As side note I was so proud of her for standing, listening and obeying the teacher/leader. Lots of the other kids--even ones much older than she were just plain nuts up there. Guess I have done something right?! ;)
Our Church has ridiculous set displays for every message series and Christmas is always one of the best ones; however after last year's set I am not sure they could top it, but it is still lovely.

Now moving on to Silent Night. She did really well. Per usual she was easily distracted by the other kids and lights; but for being almost 4 she did a nice job and I am just so proud of her.

I am giggling and have tears in my eyes!! She was super duper cute!! What a fun memory for everyone:) I cannot wait to show Landrey this after her nap.

ReplyDeleteI have to be annoying and post again... first, kreg watched this tonight and he laughed so hard at one boy a few ppl over from Lo and we both get the biggest kick out of Lo's silent night very distinct hand motion that she FOR SURE knew (the one that she pressed her finger to her lips and then went straight down to her knees:)
ReplyDeleteLandrey could not believe she was seeing lo lo sister--she kept squeezing her eyes together and smiling at her. She was in awe of the whole production really.
Then since I had all your videos pulled up, we all watched Lo's cart wheel over and over again. I was just dying at her. Then Kreg said, MW is hilarious, he is so funny in his undies, one sock and paci:) He could not even believe how big MW was.
