1. I definitely am feelin' Monday today. With my "job" there are no Monday's or Friday's. It is 24/7 365, with no days off or sick leave.
Today I need a sick day. I have a bad cold or allergies or something and I am just exhausted and drained. You know it is bad when I don't go to the gym! So here we sit in our pjs today.
And to add icing to this cake. My hubs has P/T conferences through Wed. He won't even be home 'til 830p each night, so I am definitely on.my.own!

BOY!3. I am a list maker. You should see all my "to do lists" lying around the house. It is starting to get embarrassing. Today though I am thinking I would feel better about myself if I just wrote down things as I did them as oppose to what I should be doing. Perhaps I would feel more accomplished?! It's worth a try.
4. It was 67* in our home this AM. FREEZING!
5. We have had a couple of consignment sales around here and I got a bunch of cute things for Lo and a few things for the BOY. Seriously, I 'hate' boy clothes. They just don't do it for me. So glad I have one girl to dress.

I am just picky. I hate novelty stuff and tee-shirts, which evidently is all boys are suppose to wear! HA!

Well, may you all have a great Monday. Mine will be spent wishin' I was on the couch curled up in a warm blanket, watching movies and drinking hot tea. :)
First off, congrats on the BOY!!! Second, I hope everything is okay with the little guy, how frightening! Third, I can't believe you kept that secret!!! Sneaky, sneaky, and hard to do!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for a girl too, and during the ultra sound I thought it was a boy for a while and thought, oh no! (horrible mommy!) but now that I know it's a girl and we're done after two, I'm a little sad for Wade that he won't have a boy to do guy stuff with as the kid grows. I know we'll be perfectly content with two girls, but you will of course be happy with one of each. congrats!
Yay! Boys are the best :) I at first thought there would be no good boy clothes out there but I was wrong, there are a ton of really cute boy things out especially at carters and gap. Congrats! Oh and we will be praying for you and that God will heal your little guy of whatever is going on.
ReplyDeleteOh, that little boy will steal your heart instantly and there really are some cute clothes. You may have to hunt hard, but it can be done. My daughter and I have become pros at finding cute little boy clothes for her son and my Grandson.
