Chad and I were so excited to take her. We even got his mom to babysit {we really had to twist her arm;)} Micah, so it could just be our little "date" day. I kept telling her the day before we were going to see Elmo in person. She sort of got it, but didn't.
Before we left we had to don our Elmo shirt {thanks Aunt Ellen!} and of course bring Elmo along!
Then we arrived and the show finally started.
"So where is Elmo?!"
Here reaction when the show started. Priceless.
Her face throughout the show was priceless. I mostly just took pics of her expressions. She would ask for each of the characters every time one or two would disappear from the stage.
However, she only lasted an hour and half. That is a long time for a 2 year old. About 5 minutes after the intermission ended she signed and said "all done." We kept asking her if she was sure the whole way out. I was a tad bummed because I wanted to see how it ended. :) Then of course as soon as we step foot out into daylight, she wants to go back. We told her it was over and to wave "bye bye to Elmo."
It was a fun morning and I am so glad we took her. It will be fun in a few years to take both kids. That little red monster really knows how to hook kids.
YAY!! How fun! She looked so cute in that Elmo shirt and holding her Elmo!! What a fun date day with just the three of you!!
